HOW LONG DOES FEATHER STROKE EYEBROW TATTOOING LAST?

Up to 1 year maximum. Can vary depending on skin type, exposure to sun and reaction.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?

It takes no longer than 2 hours depending on skin type and nature of eyebrows.

HOW LONG DOES FEATHER STROKE EYEBROW TATTOOING TAKE TO HEAL?

Healing, which consists of scaling and peeling can take up to 2 weeks maximum. After care instructions should be followed to ensure that eyebrows have healed accordingly.

CAN I CHOOSE THE COLOUR?

There are a range of ink colours to choose from to suit all clients skin colour and eyebrow hair colour. We can also help you with choosing the right shade to suit your preference.

WHAT INK DO YOU USE?

Here at RR Aesthetics we use ELITE ink which is the best on the market and especially formulated for micro-blading. It is tartazine free and contains no heavy metals. It is also vegan friendly and not tested on any animals.

WHEN IS IT A RIGHT TIME TO DO MY TOUCH UP?

Touch up’s should be done minimum 4-6 weeks post the initial treatment. This allows time for eyebrows to heal fully before perfecting them for the second time. Free touch-ups are only valid up to 2 months from initial procedure date. It is very important that clients prioritise their touch up just as much as their initial treatment as this can affect obtaining the best results possible.

WHEN WOULD I NEED TO GET AN ANOTHER TOUCH UP?

It all depends on how well your skin absorbs the ink, and/or fades. This is determined by a number of factors which comes into play such as exposure to sun, laser, certain medications, skin type etc. We can advise if another touch up is needed but eyebrows would have to be assessed. For clients who have oily skin or participate in activities that involve swimming in chlorine water or constant exposure to the sun, a touch up every six months would be advised.

CAN I WAX OR THREAD AFTER I GET FEATHERING DONE?

Yes you can, however we recommend cleaning around the feather strokes to ensure the strokes do not fade quicker than usual.

SHOULD I WAX MY EYEBROWS BEFORE GETTING THEM FEATHERED?

Prior to the procedure we tweeze the eyebrows area clean. If you get your eyebrows waxed make sure it is done 2-3 days prior to your appointment. However, please ensure you leave the hairs which are close to your eyebrow shape. The more hairs we have to work amongst, the more natural looking the result will be.

CAN I DO THIS PROCEDURE WHILST PREGNANT?

We don’t recommend getting your eyebrows feathered whilst pregnant or breastfeeding due to the anaesthetic in the numbing cream we use prior to the procedure.

IS IT DONE WITH A MACHINE?

The beauty of feathering is that it requires no electronic or vibrating machine! With the simple use of a hand-tool and blade we are able to create fine hair strokes following the direction of your hair growth.
